Allie grabbed the keys, raced out to the car and hopped onto the seat, noticing the feeling of warmth of the cushion on her jeans, she gave a silent squeal of delight just to be alive. She started the engine, slipped the transmission into reverse and started off on her weekend of bliss. With the wind blowing past her ears, she headed for the country, noting every vibrant color bursting in upon her memory banks, she made a note to sketch the landscape, as soon as she got settled.
